THE PALMIER FOUNDATION DONATES TO NEWLY ESTABLISHED PERSPECTIVE MINISTRIES

The Palmier Foundation supports a new non-profit to help widows and their children.

Boston, Massachusetts, June 7, 2017– Dan Palmier, Founder of The Palmier Foundation has announced their donation commitment to newly created PerspectivesMinistries, a non-profit organization. The Perspective Ministries mission is to seek to care for the widow and fatherless and encourage others to do the same.

The Founder of Perspective Ministries, Lori Apon, met her husband Bobby and their marriage covenant blessed them with eight children.  Sadly, Bobby died in 1999 and Lori and her children were suddenly faced with hardships and emotional challenges beyond comprehension.  With Grace, her deep faith, and a loving community, the road to healing began.  Over the past 17 years, Lori and her children have helped others with compassion, prayer, and a trusting spiritual journey.

This time of year brings warmth and sun and new beginnings. It makes me grateful. And especially during this extended holiday of Memorial Day. I am humbled when I think of our fallen American soldiers who protected our nation - who protected me and my loved ones. This weekend, may you have a few moments to honor them in your own way.   Click on the VIDEO button and please enjoy our brief VIDEO to honor our fallen.  God bless those who serve and God bless America.

NY and Boston communities come together to recognize relief efforts at the anniversary of Hurricane Sandy

New York, NY Last month, alumni, students, parents and staff of Staten Island's St. Christopher's School gathered at an Alumni Reunion Benefit to honor several individuals who played key roles in rebuilding the school and supporting the community in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

Keynote speaker Dan Palmier, graduate of the Class of 1975 and president and CEO of Boston-based real estate investment firm UC Funding, was instrumental in raising funds for storm-ravaged Staten Island and the families of St. Christopher's School. "Our gift to the families of St. Christopher's School was inspired by my grandmother who was still alive at the time," said Palmier. Growing up on Staten Island, Palmier recalled his grandmother's and parents' passion for helping and praying for those in need. "My grandmother lived her life devoted to her three 'F's' - Faith, Family and Friends - and she instilled these beliefs in her children and grandchildren."
